The March 9th Baseball Game against Turpin has been postponed due to field maintenance. The game will eventually be rescheduled.

The Boise City FCA group is gathering donations to benefit the Ralstin family of Elkhart, Kansas. The Ralstin’s house recently burned down, destroying the majority of their belongings. Gary and Shelby Ralstin have two children, Kage and Chevelle. Kage is in the Class of 2023 at Elkhart High School. He is an incredibly talented athlete, as he is one of the leading players on his football, basketball and baseball teams. Chevelle is a sophomore at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, and she is a starter on the women’s basketball team there. The whole idea of this project is to show kindness and support after this tragedy. We will have collection jars in Ms. Evelyn’s and Ms. Pat’s offices for anyone wanting to donate. Any donation that you are willing to give is greatly accepted. From coins to dollar bills, this act of kindness will forever be appreciated. The donation is open to the whole community, not just the school. Please help our FCA group support this family in need. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kim Mizer or Coach Gabriele.

Forms for track shirts and hoodies are available at the school offices and have been sent home with students. Forms are also available online at the following link:

This Week In Sports
March 6-9
Thurs. Mar. 9: HS Baseball @ Turpin 4:00 PM

I am so proud of my 3rd graders today.
I gave them a printed paragraph to copy, along with a step by step instruction paper for how to draw Marian Anderson from our Reading Story this week. Some of my students asked if they could write it in cursive. I said if you want to you sure can! Some of them wrote it in cursive, some print, and some both. I think they all did a beautiful job and I am so happy with the progress each and every one of them has made so far this school year!! ❤️

The Boise City Home Economics Department received funding through the OPSRC CEF Grant Program. We received some of our items purchased with this funding. 5 Singer Sewing Machines, 24 Sewing scissors, over 40 yrds in fabric for projects & other sewing supplies. We are very excited and thankful for this grant which will help our classes with sewing projects.
