The OSSAA mandates a 14-day preseason heat-acclimatization period designed to safely prepare players for outside temperatures.
Please know that our coaching staff strictly follows these vital guidelines:
💪 Modified Exertion
• We actively avoid high-exertion drills during peak heat hours.
💧 Hydration & Cooling
• We provide plenty of mandatory water breaks and opportunities to cool down throughout every practice.
📈 Gradual Adjustment
• Because the human body needs time to slowly adapt to rising temperatures, we have carefully planned our practice schedules to ramp up intensity gradually.
❓ Questions or Concerns?
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our practice schedule or heat safety protocols, please reach out directly to any head coach or Athletic Director Mr. Baker.
