This Week In Boise City Athletics
August 31- September 5
Today the 2nd graders were able to learn about the life and legacy of Dolly Parton. Afterwards they learned to distinguish barred 8th notes from 8th notes. Finished the class with a game to reinforce barred 8th notes
Natalie Noles, Kaci Melvin, Sherri Buntin and Trinity Patton came all the way from OSU Aerospace Department to introduce Aerospace to our students. The students were able to build their own drones and take them home and they shook paws with a robot dog!
5-8th graders were fortunate to have Game Warden Lydia Gearhart and Angela Trantham from the Conservation District present Skins and Skulls from our region of Oklahoma. Thank you for your presentation.

Oct. 15: Game vs. Shattuck will kickoff early at 3:00 PM (Fall Break).

Our cafeteria program has made tremendous progress since food service was brought back in-house and began being operated directly by the district. We want to keep that momentum going and continue providing our students with the quality meals they deserve — but we need the right person to help lead our cafeteria team.
If you have experience in food service, kitchen operations, management, or supervising a team, we strongly encourage you to apply. If you know someone who would be a great fit, please share this post with them and encourage them to apply!

2nd grade students learned about Mi, Sol, and La today, as well as the look and value of half notes. To reinforce their ability to recognize half notes and their value, they were able to go against each other identifying half notes in a game.
The field is dried up and it's TIME TO PLAY BALL!!! Pack the stands and the outfield and come cheer on your Boise City Lady Wildcats as they take on Balko-Forgan Bulls!! The games will start at 4:00PM! It's a home game so there is no excuse not to come and watch our girls play!
