Sports this week! HS Baseball travels to Booker Tx today March 8th starting at 4pm. JH State Powerlifters will be leaving tomorrow Wed. March 9th right after lunch and lifting Thursday morning starting at 9am. State Meets are located in El Reno Ok, at the Jenks Simmons Gym. Congratulations to Jesus Villa for qualifying for HS State Powerlifting, He will compete on Saturday in El Reno at the same location. THE FIRST ROUND OF THE AREA TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26. SITES WILL REMAIN THE SAME. THERE WILL BE ONE SESSION. GAME TIMES ARE 4 PM, 5:30 PM, 7 PM, AND 8:30 PM.
THE SECOND ROUND OF THE AREA TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28. 2 SESSIONS. SITES AND TIMES REMAIN THE SAME. SESSION 1—1:30 PM AND 3 PM. SESSION 2—6:30 PM AND 8 PM

The Woodward DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Chapter
presented Adriana Lisett Rosas the Boise City High School DAR Good Citizens Award. This award is intended to recognize and reward seniors who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. This is considered to be a national award.
Rosas received a DAR Good Citizens scholarship, pin, and certificate.
Presenting the award was Roberta Woodrum Chance Honorary Chapter Regent Woodward DAR Chapter.
