🚨 Safety Alert: Dangerous TikTok Trend 🚨
We have recently observed incidents involving the misuse of Chromebooks, specifically students inserting foreign objects into USB ports. This behavior is strictly prohibited.
Tampering with Chromebooks in this way is considered destruction of school property and will result in disciplinary action. Additionally, such actions pose a serious safety hazard—damaging internal components may lead to the ignition of the Chromebook’s lithium-ion battery, creating a potential fire risk.
We urge all students to treat school-issued devices responsibly and report any issues to a staff member immediately, and encourage parents to speak openly about the dangers of this trend. Ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment is a shared responsibility.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
