BCHS Student chosen to represent the Woodward DAR Chapter in the Frontier District DAR Good Citizens competition
Harmony Thornton is the Boise City High School DAR representative for the Woodward DAR Chapter. Harmony competed in the essay competition by being given an unknown prompt, a two hour time limit, in a supervised room using only her own knowledge and keyboard. No resources were allowed.
Once again, the competition for the Woodward DAR Chapter Good Citizens Scholarship was extremely close. The judges were college professors who were very impressed with all of the applications from these outstanding seniors from Arnett, Beaver, Boise City, Fargo, Forgan, Fort Supply, Laverne, Leedey, Mooreland, Shattuck, Texhoma, Tyrone, and Woodward High Schools.
Harmony Renee Thornton of Boise City High School was chosen to represent the Woodward DAR Chapter in the Frontier District DAR Good Citizens competition. Congratulations to Harmony Thornton!
It is an honor to have Harmony as the Boise City High School’s DAR representative and eagerly await the results of the final level of competition. Harmony is a testament to the exceptional qualities that embody a Good Citizen – someone who not only excels academically but also actively contributes to their community.
