Welcome to Our Team

Boise City Public Schools is happy to introduce some new employees as well as some employees who have been here for a while, but are now assuming new roles in the district.  Many of the names and faces of these individuals will be recognizable, while others may not.  I want to welcome each of them to the Boise City Schools team, and hope that they will get a warm reception from the school district community.

Roxanne Graciano was born and raised in Pomona, California. She is 24 years old, and is engaged to her fiancé. Roxanne has a 2-year-old daughter and a 1-year old son. In her spare time Roxanne likes to spend time with her family. Her kids love outside activities, so you will probably find her at water parks, zoos, or amusement parks.

Roxanne attended Mt. San Antonio Community College right after graduating from high school where her major was Law Enforcement, more specifically Corrections. As she made her way through college, Roxanne started working at a daycare. She worked there for about 2 years and as she was working there she began to love working with children. Interacting with each kid made her really rethink her “Law Enforcement career”.  Now Roxanne is here in Boise City ready to continue working with children that one day will be the future. She will be employed as a paraprofessional at Boise City School.

Lucy Ledesma will be the assistant coach for High School and Junior High Cheer. She graduated from Boise City high school in 2016. Lucy has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma Panhandle State University.  She currently works in the Cimarron County Assessor’s Office at the courthouse. Lucy and head cheer coach, Kaylie Crawford, cheered for Boise City all through high school and stayed best friends since then. They have big plans for the cheer program, one of which is to compete in the game day competition in November. Lucy is thrilled to be able to come back and take over a coaching role for the team and is excited to see what the future holds for the program.

Amber Robinson is joining Boise City Schools as the new Kindergarten teacher and she is “so excited to be teaching here”. She is married to her best friend, Joe, and is a mom to three wonderful kids. Although her husband was born and raised here, Amber and Joe lived in Weatherford, OK until about three years ago when they decided to move to Boise City. In Weatherford, Amber worked as a surgical technologist for several years and then owned and operated an in-home daycare for four years so that she could stay home after her youngest child was born. Since moving to Boise City, Amber has worked as a reading coach at Boise City Elementary.  She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she completed her teaching degree this summer. Amber truly loves working with children and seeing their eyes light up as they learn and discover something new.

After her time in Pre-K, Cintia was able to move up to Second Grade, which was a big change and she enjoyed two years with Mrs. Shannon. Cintia is extremely excited to start her seventh year at Boise City School as the new Second Grade teacher.
